| Sacred Heart of Jesus High School seeks the highest academic excellence and strives to catechize the hearts, minds and souls of its students. We are dedicated to living the life of Christ and leading a sacramental life; while disciplining the body to be a temple of the Holy Spirit. |
Sacred Heart of Jesus High School Catechetical emphasis will:
- Understand that every person is created in the image of God and is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and strive to welcome students of other religious backgrounds in an atmosphere of Christian love and Charity.
- Academically challenge each student to identify and fully utilize his/her God given abilities to serve the Kingdom of God and the good of others.
- Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities designed to develop a Catholic world view of life, culture, environment and history.
- Provide students of college preparatory abilities a rigorous classical curriculum to gain the knowledge and skills to succeed in higher education and in life.
- Inspire the staff, faculty and students to constantly and consistently reflect the image of Christ by leading a sacramental life and being grounded in scripture, prayer and the traditions of the Catholic Faith.
